Day 1
I arrived at Camp yesterday afternoon. All of the other dogs seem pretty cool so far. No real Alpha dogs, and everybody was pretty friendly right away. There's this one guy here named Chilly; he's like 12 but he seems nice enough. He said he was in a shelter once, too. He didn't talk about it much, but it's nice to know that others have been homeless once, too.
Anyway, I've played with a couple of Airedales, a very big German Shepherd, and a few labs --Everyone seems pretty nice so far. I really like the people who work here -- my camp counselors -- they give me lots of attention and they play ball with me. They tell me I won't be here very long 'cause I'm so cute and sweet. I don't know. I feel like I fit in here, so if it takes a little while, I'll be okay. It's strange to see all of the other dogs go home with their moms and dads after coming to camp just for the day. Some of them stay longer, like if their family goes on a vacation or something. Anyway, I'll have a new family soon enough. Until then, I'll just pretend that I'm on vacation here at Camp Bow Wow.
Want to watch me live? Click on the Camp Bow Wow link on the right, and then on the "Doggy Cam & News" link and you can watch me play with all my new friends. My counselors tell me that as soon as I slow down for longer than two seconds, they'll take a picture of me so you all can see what I look like. They'll also update their Foster Dog page so people can read about me there. Riley, the dog on that page now, was adopted, the lucky guy. So, if you or anyone you know in the Denver area is lookin' for a dog, give the Camp a call 'cause I'd love to meet you!
Anyway, until next time, keep waggin'!
